A commercial airline today will take about 7 hours to go from New York to London. Between 1976 and 2003, passengers could have taken that trip in 3 hours and a half. The Concorde was a turbojet-powered plane that could travel up to twice the speed of sound (that’s 1,334 miles per hour or 2,146 kilometer per hour!). So why can’t we book one of these flights today? Watch the video below to find out more about these supersonic planes.
